About Chicks Dig Books:
This is a blog for nerdy girls (and guys too) who love books. I have a Master’s in publishing and I currently work for a journal publishing company in Philadelphia; blogging is something fun that I do in my spare time that lets me share my love of books with the world. I’ve been a lover of horror, science fiction, and everything weird for all my life. But I don’t just read the weird stuff; I’ll read other genres as well. Adult trade fiction is my specialty, but I will read and review YA books that I think are exceptional. I’ll post book reviews and share my random thoughts about authors and writing. Please give me a shout–I love getting e-mail, especially from authors and publishers!

For Authors and Publishers:
If you’ve looked my previous reviews and think that your book is a good match for my blog, please feel free to get in touch with me about submitting your book for review. I prefer digital galleys but I am open to receiving traditional galleys as well.
Thanks for visiting!

Could I submit my book for you to review? I’m self-published, but it’s been available for almost a year. Here’s the link, in case you would like to read a summary/preview: http://amzn.com/1451590563
I couldn’t find your policy on reviews. Forgive me if I’ve approached you incorrectly.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Ronnie,
I checked out your book on Amazon and it sounds right up my alley! I just got it on my Kindle and I’ll be sure to post a review as soon as I can.
Thanks for visiting!
Jen
That’s great! Thank you so much. I will link it on Facebook and Twitter when you’re done. Enjoy!
I read your book, Ronnie. I want to say that you summed up a lot of my story with yours and I wanted to thank you for finding some words for things I’ve never had the capacity to explain.
I’m also a “no shit taker” at this point in my life and I find it semi-difficult to do that with myself, but I’m young and learning.
I really appreciated the honesty with which you write and the rawness in which you choose to express where your mind is in a specific point in time.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Thank you more for sharing your perseverance (even if at times it was fueled by spite). Thank you most of all for sharing your hope as sometimes, I have a tendency to forget that the light at the end of the tunnel doesn’t have to be an oncoming train.
Thank you so much. You have made my day so much better!
I’ll be checking out the Knowing your Value book, I love reading and lately this whole topic of women in business, science, leadership, etc has become my favorite topic to read on!
